1. Service scope

VMCommit Cloud Mac offers Mac mini rentals by the day, week, month or quarter. Each order provides one dedicated physical machine, not a virtual machine; its CPU, memory and local storage are not shared with other tenants. Choose from Commit 16 (M4, 16 GB memory, 256 GB storage) and Commit 24 (M4, 24 GB memory, 512 GB storage).

Once your order is confirmed, we provide access details for the host matching your selected model, location and rental period. You can connect via SSH and VNC as described in the delivery instructions. Network connectivity, operating system and additional storage depend on the configuration in your order. Delivery typically takes about 15 minutes after payment; check the console for the latest status.

During your rental period, you are responsible for managing the software you install, workloads you deploy and data you store on the host. To check whether a build or development task is a good fit, start with the connection and usage guide, then choose your order configuration.

2. Accounts & orders

Before placing an order, provide an email address where you can receive account and delivery notifications, and make sure your account details are accurate. The account holder is responsible for orders, access credentials and activity on the account. Keep your login credentials and SSH private keys secure; do not share them publicly.

When ordering, select a model, location, rental period and any extras you need. Before paying, check the configuration and total due shown in your order. Both models are available in Singapore, Japan (Tokyo), South Korea (Seoul), Hong Kong, the US East Coast and the US West Coast. Availability at checkout is determined by the live status shown in the console.

After placing an order, use the console to check delivery progress, manage your instance, renew your rental or submit a support ticket. If the order details do not match the work you plan to run, submit a console ticket before getting started, including your order number and the details you want us to check.

3. Billing & payment

All models, rental periods and extras are priced in US dollars (USD). Your order is charged upfront for the full rental period you select. The rental period starts when the corresponding host is delivered; the payment time does not determine its start. The itemized order shown at checkout is the reference for your payment.

We accept only USDT-TRC20 and Visa, Mastercard or Amex processed by Stripe. Available payment gateways at checkout are shown in the console. For an on-chain transfer, check the network, amount and recipient details shown at checkout. For a card payment, verify the payment confirmation.

Renewals and extras are charged according to the rental period and order details selected at checkout. To compare daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly prices for each model, as well as prices for extras, see plans and pricing. Confirm your configuration before submitting payment.

4. Renewals, upgrades & expiry

Before your current rental period ends, go to the console to review renewal options and place a renewal order. A renewal is complete only when the console confirms the order and payment status. Opening the renewal page or starting but not completing payment does not extend your current rental. Allow time to wrap up any running builds before expiry.

To switch from Commit 16 to Commit 24 or change your storage configuration, follow the upgrade and new-order options in the console. Check the configurations, costs and delivery arrangements before and after the change. Hosts in different locations have separate orders and rental periods; an upgrade or new order does not automatically transfer data from your existing host.

If your rental period expires without a completed renewal, access to the host will stop. The data retention period and deletion arrangements after expiry are those shown in your order or in the relevant notice we send you. If no period is specified, confirm it by submitting a console support ticket before paying. Before access stops, export any code, build artifacts, keys and other data you need to keep. Do not rely on an expired host for backups.

5. Acceptable use

Use the host only as permitted by applicable law and within the scope of any authorizations you hold. You are responsible for the programs you deploy, the content you transmit and activity under your account. Manage access permissions, revoke unused keys promptly and avoid exposing unnecessary ports on public-facing services.

You must not use the service to send unsolicited bulk messages, mine cryptocurrency, launch network attacks or conduct unauthorized scans. You must not store, distribute or process content that infringes others' intellectual property or other legal rights. Do not attempt to bypass access controls or disrupt the normal operation of other users or locations.

If you receive a notice about a security risk or usage restriction, stop the relevant activity promptly and provide investigation details through a console support ticket. For verified violations, we may take necessary measures, such as restricting relevant activity, suspending access or terminating the affected order. We will explain the basis for our action and how to appeal.

6. Availability & continuity

VMCommit Cloud Mac targets 99.9% uptime. Locations operate year-round, 365 days a year. Check your order and instance status in the console. If SSH, VNC or a build task encounters an issue, note your order number, location, the time it occurred and any error messages so we can assess the impact.

If a service interruption or performance issue occurs, we will investigate using instance records and support ticket details, and keep you informed of our progress. If a platform issue affects a paid rental period, you may submit a review and refund request under Section 7 of these terms. Any resolution will be based on verifiable order, delivery and incident records.

Uptime calculations distinguish platform-side faults from unavailability caused by users stopping instances or changing system or network settings. Force majeure events are handled according to applicable law and their actual impact. If an issue persists, submit a support ticket in the console; do not rely solely on connection messages from your client to determine host status.

7. Refunds & disputes

If a paid order cannot be delivered with the confirmed configuration, or a platform issue continues to affect a paid rental period, submit a console support ticket with your order number, relevant dates and times, details of the issue and any available records. We will review the payment, delivery and service records and explain the outcome, including the refund method and amount where applicable.

If you have questions about your model, rental period or extras, check the order details before paying. For changes or refund requests on an order that has already been delivered, provide the order number and reason so we can assess the request based on the order status and applicable rules. Do not make a duplicate payment instead of requesting a change.

If you disagree with the outcome, add supporting evidence to the original ticket or email support@vmcommit.com with your order number. We should first seek to resolve the matter by reviewing the order details, payment and delivery records. Both parties retain the right to seek further remedies under applicable law.

8. Liability, changes & governing law

For service disputes arising from a specific order, the parties should assess liability in light of the actual loss, amount paid, delivery records and each party's activity records. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or obligations that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

We may update these terms if our services change or to meet legal requirements. We will publish the new version and its effective date. For existing orders, we will notify you through an available account notification channel of material changes to the service scope, billing or expiry arrangements. You can review the version in effect before placing a new order.

These terms and any disputes arising from them are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the platform operator is based. Disputes that cannot be resolved through discussion may be brought before a court with jurisdiction in that jurisdiction. For questions about these terms or an order, contact us by submitting a console support ticket or emailing support@vmcommit.com.
